that is not what is going on in Iraq. The US is making an experiment in Iraq in regime change that is supposed to crate a more democratic government, in a country that was created artificially, with 3 separate ethnic groups that all wish for Independence. at present, to outcomes of this experiment are havoc, but that experiment is still going on, and still has some chances of success. but this experiment is a threat to several neighboring countries, that have similar ethnic problems (Syria, Iran, Turkey), to the ethnic groups in Iran, that are yet unable to accept a democratic, multi ethnic government, to Muslim extremists, that object to this US led experiment, as well as to the non or semi democratic Governments of other Muslim countries, who fear for the stability of their regimes (Saudi Arabia, Egypt, etc.)

I fail to see how you or anyone can see Iraq as a liberated country...when daily routine is a chance you may not survive! As far as oil is concerned ,do you seriously believe we would have invaded if it was not for oil?

Maybe so. I mean, if we actually went in to steal the oil, fuel in the US would be at 75 cents a gallon, right now.
Obviously we had more pressing business, here.

We liberated a country by invading it and changing it's government, something just doesnt add up with the liberating part, and no.

That oil pays for your 401k... Oh wait... You don't care about your 401k anymore... Right?
Besides the fact that Iran, an obvious more threat to the US... HAS MORE OIL THAN IRAQ!!

Nobody has stolen their oil and nobody intends to. If you see gas prices in the US you will know that no oil has been stolen from anywhere. We could have just taken it. We havent.
