How dangerous could it be?

It could KILL you, Ambien is a benzodiazapine(sedative) and mixing it with alcohol causes a synergistic effect and can substantially increase the strength of the ambien. If a large dose of ambien is mixed with booze you could wake up dead.

Well for each person that is different, it could be life threating for some, how is that dangerous enough for you. ? That is why they tell you not to us the two together, so if you really wanted an answer to this question, why did you not ask when they told you that , what the effects, and recks could be, after all you should know what you are taking, what the side effects are, and what the danger signs are. You should also know what you can eat or drink with any medication, and when a medication is so bad with you, to get to a hospital or call the doctor who gave it to you and let them know what is going on. So yes, it could be very dangerous, even life threating .
