I like this guy.He always used to talk to me. Then one day he stopped talking to me as much. It was like he would hardly talk to me for two weeks and then he was back to normal again. Another thing i have noticed is that when we used to talk he's look at me for a little too long. so much so that i woud have to look away. Now sometimes i feel that he avoids eye contact with me.Not all of the time just sometimes.I've seen him looking at me a few times. He'd look and then look away a few times and sometimes when i see him looking at me he won't look away.He smiles often when we talk and it seems as though he tries to get my attention physically. And he teases me. and brings me into conversations with other people or enters my conversations with other people. So why does he talk to me sometimes and not others?i'm confused

I feel that this Guy Lacks Confidence and wants you to make a first move.

May be when you are in else's company he get jealous and says to himself I am not going to talk with her....

Most Importantly what you feel about him is what matters !

There are 2 possibilities.
1) He's a dating expert. That means he knows how to make gals curious about him. That is why sometimes he wanted to show you that his full attention is on you, and when he's not, he's expecting you to notice him by remembering how he used to stare at you.
2) He's an extremely unconfidence person whom never been in love before, so he don't know how to react. Initially he always stare at you, but when you look away, he thought that you have no interests in him and dare not look at you directly again.

But based on the info you provided, I felt that he's interested in you, but be careful if you want to accept him. Best to check him out about his character with ppl around him. This is to safe guard yourself against him, in case he's a ( player) casanova.

he maybe influenced by the other people he is with. if they dont like you, he may act the same to be in their 'group'. ask him what is up with his 'on-off' approach.
