First attraction would be appearance or certain traits like manner of behavior, talk etc. But everything beautiful at sight may not be beautiful later on. 'All that glitters is not gold'. To be sure of a permanent attraction...it should be character... Good is beautiful. Without a good character/ethics/moral standard people could be vain and not attractive...or even repelling..

The first thing will definitely be physical attraction meaning, good looks. Then from there, comes the first conversation which will most prolly lead to exchanging of numbers and frequent dates. And from frequent dates, that's when u'll know about one's inner beauty.
So wat I'm trying to say is, BULLSHIT to those who claim that inner beauty attracts them. A sexy and beautiful girl walk passed him and his eyes nvr blink... in fact, it almost pop out. But when a fat girl walk passed, just one glance and that's it or perhaps dun even bother to look at. It's takes a whole lot more to fall for an ugly or fat person :)
