I would imagine it is a temporary thing; baby's are always a little "funny" looking when they are first born. His/her eyes will most likely change over the next couple weeks. Oh and congrates on having a new baby. I hope everything goes well for you.

Hi, Your babys' eyes look a little "chinese" because its face was squished up during delivery. (That's through your wife's vagina, we are not talking about the van here, ok?) Give the poor little thing a chance and I am sure it will settle down. Plus, if there is any chinese in the last four generations each side, then chinese physical characteristics can be produced. Either way, that's the way your baby is, and you got to love it anyway. If you think your wife has had an affair with the chinese delivery guy, then put it over in marriage and divorce. It's nothing to do with the food, the food will only have gone through your wife's digestive system to the babies digestive system. Look at fat guys, they may well eat loads of chinese, but they don't look chinese do they? Best wishes, Red Stripe

Well at least you're not like the one guy i saw on maury: "that baby's not mine! He's not "hung" like me....". Don't jump to conclusions. You may think he looks a certain way now, but he is just a newborn, and most newborns look the same (sorry parents out there, but you know that only your baby looks especially special to you) There are a lot of similar features that lots of newborns have. Also consider that the Philipeans and China are both Asian countries, and plenty of the general features of asians are similar, or pretty close to the same. His features will develop more in the next couple weeks or months, and hopefully you won't think that as much!

Sweets genetics and heridity go much farther back than you and your wife. Do you both know your complete family history all the way back to the beginning? If not then how do you know there is no Chinese blood in there somewhere?

Your baby's just been born and babies are usually "deformed" when are newly borned. His/her features will develop as she grows. My niece looked like Bentong when She was 3 weeks old (oops!), and has whiter skin. She's very different now, and definitely doesn't look like Bentong anymore. Her mestiza skin turned to morena too. Just give your baby time. Oh and, it's normal for babies to look Chinese at first. As I've said, babies are physically deformed at first.

I mean no offense to any chinese or filipino's but don't filipino's have eyes shaped like chinese people sorta? I just searched pictures and they seem to have an asian look to them.

The baby is still too young . You just can tell if she is just 9 days old. In the past 9 days baby still have not able to open thier eye. You only can tell after 3 month.
