I have plenty of male friends that where we both can't imagine us being anything more than friends...it just seems wrong in a way

It's hard for a man and a woman to be very close friends without either of them starting to have some feelings.
Most of the time, sure.
About half of my friends are females and the friendships are all purely platonic.

Most men can't do the only friends thing, but I have a guy friend who is very platonic. In fact he has helped me with marriage prob.s in the past. So, yes they can.

Yes we can be platonic friends...i know i have been just a friend to loads of women. I cannot imagine being more than that to my female friends

I have some women that I truly view as just friends. They give good advice and teach me not to be so selfish and insensitive. I have learned a lot and become a better person from them.

1) There is no physical atraction.
2) He is in a very strong, emotionally stable relationship.
3) He is homosexual.

4) He is dead

Nope. If I had a chick that was just a friend and just hanging out with me, she would eventually want me to give it to her.
So its more like, will that chick friend ever seduce the guy. Most dudes would not turn it down if they had the opportunity.
You women just don't know how much power the vagina has over men.

Iam not sure....wut platonic means but we men see things differnt than woman (not in a bad way) Well I view woman as not just another body to lay...Woman have a heart and they have emotions and when they wanna know answer i as man give them that..iam completey honest and i do not lie but yah anyways i really dont know wut platonic means (BIG WORD $ me)
