well i know a lot that catholics do wrong. most people only go because they are a big church and they can do whatever they want to during the rest of the week and then ask for there sins to be forgiven. however only one can forgive our sins. that is Jesus not thru anyone else. we are to pray to God not thru marry or a priest or anyone else. to him directly. as far as wine. wine back then met of the vine. that means grape juice is technically wine. back in the Bible wine was also not as strong as today. does not mean you could not get drunk but it took more then what you would drink today.
all churches for the most part believe in baptizing it is not just catholics. however most will baptize when children are about 10. or older. when they feel the child knows what he is doing. not when they are born. i know a lot of catholics who pray to a statue. rather it is a pic. or Jesus or marry or whatever. these are idols rather you choose to except or not they still are. the Bible says to not have any image of those things on in the earth or in heaven. anyways we can all argue because not matter what church or belief you are for the most part there is something someone can say about it. rather you are catholic, mormon, or like myself i am apostolic pentecostal.

What did Martin Luther, the Protestant Reformer, state about the Bible? In his "Commentary On St. John," he stated the following: "We are compelled to concede to the Papists that they have the Word of God, that we have received It from them, and that without them we should have no knowledge of It at all." Regardless of what non-Catholic Christians may think or say, according to secular, objective historians, the Catholic Church alone preserved Sacred Scripture throughout the persecution of the Roman Empire and during the Dark Ages. All non-Catholic Christian denominations owe the existence of the Bible to the Catholic Church alone. Why did God choose the Catholic Church to preserve Scripture if It is not His Church?
"Do not err, my brethren. If any man follows him that makes a schism in the Church, he shall not inherit the kingdom of God." - St. Ignatius of Antioch ("Epistle to the Philadelphians," 105 A.D.)
St. Paul begs the early Christians to be unified in mind and in what they say. There can only be one "true" Christian Church. How can the Holy Spirit guide the Catholic Church, the Lutheran Church, the Presbyterian Church, the Baptist Church, etc. if all of those denominations have doctrines and beliefs differing from each other? There is only one interpretation of the Bible. Otherwise, people can and have "read" literally anything into It.

Nondenominational Christians - via definition - have not have been given any written perception shape. So there is not any thank you to tell how ideals are distinctive. The church is in basic terms Catholic. Roman is a ceremony. There are over 20 rites under the umbrella of the Holy See. Western Rites have mass, *** Rites have Divine Liturgy.

Belief in the Holy Trinity...God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. To blaspheme and reject the Holy Spirit is an unforgivable sin. There is only one God and the three Divine persons.
The Holy Spirit is depicted at the top of the trinity, (in the form of a dove), the sign of peace. God is on the left and Jesus on the right. The holy of holies.
The Roman Catholic Church believes and teaches about the angels and the saints, which Jesus believed in. Also mentioned in 1 Thess 3.13, being a sincere follower of Jesus in 1 Cor and also in Acts. Angels are the messengers of God, beginning in Geniuses, Psalms, Matthew, Mark, Luke and in Hebrews.
They also share the teachings of the Apostles, who were sent out by Jesus to teach, after His Resurrection. That's just a few things; they believe in God the Father, creator of heaven and earth, the resurrection, that Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit, they believe in the communion of the saints.

>>Karen, then who is the pope?<<
I'm not Karen, but the pope is the successor of Peter, the guy Jesus left in charge of His flock on earth (Matthew 16:17-19; John 21:15-17)
>>Susan, its on his Head...like in revelations.<<
I am also not Susan, but you are full of it. "Vicarius Filii Dei" is not "on his Head." There is no evidence for your claim.

We believe in God and He is our Father
Vicarius Filii Dei does add up to 666 in Latin: Vicarius=112; Filii=53, Dei=501. (Ignore letters which are not assigned a numerical value.) The problem is that Vicarius Filii Dei is not a title of the pope. One of his titles, in fact his chief title, is Vicarius Christi (Vicar of Christ), but, unfortunately for Seventh-Day Adventists and other anti-Catholics who attempt to use this ploy, Vicarius Christi adds up to only a measly 214, not the infernal 666.
(Matt. 10:25). "If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world . . . the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you" (John 15:18–20).
God Bless You

Jesus is the head of the Catholic Church and thus He shares the Body of Christ with all Catholics in the Most Holy Eucharist.
Both Jesus and Catholics share God the Father as our Father.
Both Jesus and Catholics share the Blessed Virgin Mary as our Mother.
Both Jesus and Catholics have been baptized.

The Roman Catholic Church follows the teachings of Jesus Christ, unlike the Protestants who use the Bible to spread Martin Luther's wrong gospel.
