I read the article in wikipedia about LCD and Plasma tv but still, I can't decide which type of TV suits best for my living room.

Well dont listen to the poster above with the hybrid plasma LCD. Wow. Lightning is usually the big factor. If you want the best picture and your room is dark, opt for the plasma. If bright or you have a few windows check out the LCD.

LCD has Much better resolution,color clarity and Very Low Screen reflectivity.
To find the right screen size,there's a simple equation:
Multiply the screen size by Factor of 4 to obtain BEST viewing position(Using that you can work out the size needed and how it will impact on your Room where you wish to use the monitor)

i say depending on wat u like and ur style if you like big tvs go for it and if just like something u really like just buy it if u have the money personaly i have a 46' inch plasma lcd hdtv !!!
