XP has been around for quite a few years now, whereas VISTA has only been released on the 30th January this year.

Windows XP has most of the bugs ironed out by now,
Vista uses will just be discovering problems now.

Go to the microsoft website and compare both operating systems, then make an informed decision from there.
You'll find many reviews of vista and xp if you do a google search too. The eldergeek site is a good source of info too.

There are just so many differences, from release dates to hardware support. XP has been in use since 2001 and Vista has just been released. It wouldn't make much sense comparing both of them now as vista is pretty new and under development.

Vista has pretty decent interface with so many new features such as integrated search, performance tools, better boot time, security and wireless connectivity. Since it is a relatively new operating system it doesn't support all your hardware as XP did. Also Vista is much more expensive.

Check www.theregister.co.uk news portal site and search for keyword 'vista' and get all the latest news about this OS.

Just Vista has different upgrades and looks different..but when you read all these questions on Yahoo Answers about Vista it seems like it has too much security...like one person couldn't access there Bittorrent and another had trouble with iTunes...so good luck

It looks prettier. Widgets. Better security... that sums it up.

XP has 3 years of service.. don't rush to get Vista until they release there first SP

take care,

Dominick
