Anything in space? where does it end? Someone give me a good theory! all i can think of is that it goes on forever, but it shouldnt! everything has to end at one point, right?

Everything has an end, yes, but if space ends, and space is simply a bunch of nothing, then what is there after the end? Perhaps the universe we know is a part of an even bigger form of space. My personal theory is that if man or machine were to travel far enough in one set direction, it would eventually end up back where it began. The earth has an end - you travel as far as you can away from where you began, and then the only place you can go is back toward your original location. For example, if you were to travel from the absolute North Pole to the absolute South Pole, youthat is as far as you can travel away. Once you reach that destnation, you may go in any direction you like, but you will inevidably be going toward the North Pole regardless.

Well think about it this way. There's nothing on the earth that actually ends. if you fly a plane in one direction on the earth, with unlimited fuel, you go on forever. a road 'ends' but you CAN go on to the dirt pas the road and onto another road and back onto dirt and so on. I think the universe is a giant loop. just like on the earth, if i left the earth and went in the same direction, and travelled gazillions of miles, i would eventually be back where i started. the tricky thing about the universe though is that even though i was back where i started, the earth would be gone, having moved from where it was because the universe and everyithing in it is always moving (i theorize that it moves in a giant circle as well)
