Do the crime do the time but you can still be supportive of your child by still showing them that you love them. You may not agree with what they have done, but it would be like punishing them twice if you couldn't be supportive in some way.

I wouldn't ask for leniency I would ask that they got help instead because at teens age if they have already commited a crime that serious I fully beleave it is a cry for help. and if he or she got away with something like that they would more than likely do something again. I have seen so many children done this way and' the out come.

As much as I love my daughter and would fight to protect her, if she committed a serious felony she knows I would expect her to accept her punishment, I am lucky in the knowledge that she will not commit these crimes.

Well I hope that this never happens to me,but if it does..I would not ask for leniency.
A person who has commited these crimes deserve punishement 'blood relation' has nothing to do with justice.

I'm sorry I love my kids to death, but if it was to come down to it; yeah I'll have to let them suffer the consequences. You did the crime you do the time. Point blank!!!
Best Wishes,

As much as I would hate my own flesh to be put in prision or worse, I would be on the laws side. What if it was another's child?
