I'm watching that. Pretty good, so far.

Yeah, they would pretty much have to block it for their children. I mean, think of the horrors which would be unleashed if their children got a scientific and historical education.

I'm not sure, but shortly after 9-11, the Fox News channel had an animated devil face swirling around in the smoke and flames billowing out of the World Trade Center. I wonder what that teaches the children of creationists?

"Ape to man " is pure fantasy. There's absolutely no proof of that at all. But "Ape to Man" is only part of the story. If you're an evolutionist try and think about your geneology sometime. You have you parents, then your grandparents, then great grandparents then great great grandparents but if you go far enough back there's an ape somewhere. Keep going back and there's a bird and a fish and eventually if you go back far enough there's just some dead chemicals.
In your brain there are 100 billion neurons. Each one of those neurons(remember, there's 100 billion of them) is connected to 1000 other neurons. That comes out to 100 trillion connections in your brain. These connections send electronic signals(and you can measure the electricity) from one place to another. If part of the brain is damaged and you lose some function that is controlled by that part of the brain, the brain can actually re-wire itself and let other neurons in the undamaged part of the brain take over so that you can get back that function. That's only the connections in the brain, not the rest of the body.
Our bodies also have tons of information in the DNA. You have enough information in your DNA to fill encyclopedia sized books stacked from here to the moon and back 500 times. Do you really think that came about by just random chance........kind of like a monkey typing out the works of Shakespear just by randomly plucking away at the keys?
Now think about it for a second. We start out with dead chemicals in the form of dumb mud and somehow that dumb mud bootstaps itself into intelligence in the form of a brain with 100 trillion connections with an unreal amount of information and that all came about over billions of years by random chance luck and you believe it just because the history channel says so. Have you ever heard the phrase 'putting your brain on the shelf'.

Some do, some don't. The ones that do are usually ignorant and believe that they're on a BIG BAD QUEST AGAINST SCIENCE.

Science and Christianity don't have to be at odds. I've heard evidence for both sides of that debate and have come to one conclusion:

It's a debate as to SCIENTIFIC BELIEF, NOT RELIGIOUS.

God could have just as easily started the world with a big bang and created the things in it over millions of years, than not. Whether you think he created it in seven days or 5 billion years is your scientific belief, not your religion.

PERIOD.

They may not like the idea but their children are most likely going to a public school were Evolution is taught.
But some of the Christian Churches are starting to believe and teach thee same thing. using th first few verses of the book of Genesis as the reason for allowing it.
Besides something needs to be created before it can start evolving.

I would think that you would allow your children to recieve as much information from all aspects in order for them to be well educated on the subjects and be able to make their own decisions.

Yes. I believe watching those channels calls for an immediate spanking in a good Christian home.

However, I bet they make their kids endure hours of the 700 club.

Thats depending on their age.

They will know about the Bible before anything else of society's evil standards gets to them.
