ok, so a guy approaches a girl at a random place, they talk for quite a long time and they both seem rather keen. he asks for her number and she gives it to him and he calls a few days later to ask what she's doing on the weekend. she says she has nothing planned as yet so they decide to do something on sunday. he says he'll call later in the week.

the fact that he asked for your number AND called you back in the first place means he is interested. i think just wait a couple of days and you should hear back from him. seriously though, something silly might have happened, like a phone bill, or even something serious like an accident. don't jump to any conclusions just yet.
he wouldn't have bothered as much as he has already just to blow you off at the last minute.

1. He got distracted by something (or someone) else.
2. He only wanted your phone number for his file...just in case he has a quiet 'dateless' night in the future.
3. He's a player and approaches many of the women he meets in the same way!

Unless he is in a coma, there is no valid excuse for standing you up without even a phone call. Luckily you don't have to worry about what happened to him since you are never going to see him again.

the problem is we wait and expect the call, he may have gotten caught up with something else, or hopefully not, might have met somebody else.but when a girl says she will call, she calls, a man however it is a miracle if they do when they say

something either came up ad he doesnt want to say anything to you, or it is you........ you are always supposed to play hard to get and say you wont be able to make the date on such short notice, and he should call back to reschedule, or instead of dinner you should make a lunch date....
