I believe that since you can think for yourself, reason for yourself, get sick and go to the toilet, should show that you aren't a robot.

After all, have you heard of anyone inventing such a robot yet?

The way I see it, organisms and robots are mostly the same. They both carry out the functions and are limited to the capabilities they are programmed to do. The only real difference I see is that organisms are made up of cells, flesh and blood, while robots are made up of metal, plastic and microchips. We basically are complex robots. And existential questions, like yours, are unanswerable because we are not programmed to be able to know the origin of our existence. We can assume, like many religious folks do, but we cannot know.

How do I know you are not a robot programmed to ask that question?

Google Descart the philosopher and look for his self examination where he concluded: he can doubt everything except that he is thinking about this subject.

If you are not sure of even this level of thought, then relax, it makes no difference if your thoughts were programmed.

You are a robot. As you know, robots are designed to serve non-robot organisms. If you go out and look at who is serving whom, you'll find that we are serving dogs.

So, it's only logical to conclude, Mr. Sneeze, that dogs created humans to serve them.
