"As long as XP users keep their updates current, there's generally no compelling reason to buy into the hype and purchase Vista right away," said David Milman, chief executive of Rescuecom, a computer repair and support company. "We suggest people wait until buying a new machine to get Vista, for economic and practical reasons."
But beyond its improvements in security, there apparently is no guarantee that Vista will run on your PC. Microsoft offers Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor 1.0, which scans computers for Vista readiness, indicates which of four versions will adequately run and makes upgrade recommendations, should hardware need help.

Easier, Faster Access to Information
Vista Business features Windows Aero, a new interface that delivers higher levels of efficiency for any business user. This easy-to-use interface makes it a snap to navigate through the operating system and from application to application. Most importantly, Windows Aero helps you juggle multiple tasks at once by providing a three-dimensional, real-time, animated view of all your open applications and documents.
In addition to these navigation improvements, Vista Business makes it easier than ever to manage huge volumes of business documents. By integrating search throughout the operating system and providing new ways to organize files, this software helps you quickly find exactly what you are looking for.

merely own opinion for sure. i exploit Avast , I actually have even were given superantispyware and Malwarebytes. i recently replaced to Comodo firewall which seems effective and that i look besides up swifter. they're all loose for own use and that i have had no difficulty with Viruses Trojans Hackers etc. I also use living house windows Defender from the Microsoft web site. it truly is threat-free to apply 2 anti-secret agent products yet not in any respect use more effective than one A/V because it may reason conflicts. you ought to run A/V and anti secret agent weekly.

For me, it looks great at first, but as they say, looks can be deceiving. When I tried it, well, it was bad. I mean, really. Due to the added functionality, Vista was much more succeptible to crashing. I'd rather have a Mac.

I'm not impressed. I've crashed it repeatedly and had tons of errors. Most of my old software won't run on it and the security is annoying.
It's very pretty, but I can get pretty and functional with a Mac.
