I'd think the doctor has a personal problem that is distracting him from the clear and proper diagnoses of his patients. He should be discussing your symptoms not asking about your religious beliefs. Perhaps, he's in the wrong profession. I'd get another doctor and I'd suggest to him he consider the priesthood!

I had a doctor like that. He was a little odd, but he was a great doctor, so I didn't care.
As for the malpractice suits.. I guess my answer would be, "How many malpractice suits have you been forgiven for, doctor?" If the answer is over, say, two- then I'd high tail it out of there!

I'd probably say something like no the only salve I'm wearing id a535 but I can be a real jerk. By the way for years until he retired last year my Doctor was also my bishop (Mormons are not paid for priesthood duties, and I was scout master to some of his 7 sons. he and I used to go camping togrther. Twice the confidence thing, no lawyer could break that combination of rights to privacy.

If the first words out of my physicians mouth are not "What is bothering you today" than they wouldn't be my physician. I go to church if I want to hear a sermon and I go to my doctor when I want medical care. If my pastor were my doctor and I was on familiar terms than I wouldn't mind talking religion as long as his first concern is the health of my body.

Yes I would trust them. I think that God should be brought back into places instead of trying to get rid of him. God is always willing to forgive.
