Eat a light meal before you begin your fast. Don't go from totally stuffed to totally fasting to totally stuffing yourself again when your fast is over. You need to taper off of food gradually, and then taper back up, so you don't shock your system.

Drink lots of water is thats allowed. If you are only on a day fast, eat carbs during the night. If not, then try vitamins

you aren't listening to your body. it's obvious that your body is saying that it's not getting sufficient calories. this is why you are suffering from hypoglycemia and fainting, etc.
the only fasting that the body needs is at night during sleep. fasting does not have a positive effect on serum lipids or on the HDL-C:LDL-C ratio for those with higher than average body fat/BMI
