I'm 25.. my veins have shown through the top of my hands for years now, but tonight it was much more noticable( Big green veins and they bump up my skin too ) and not only on my hands but up my arms except with my arms it isn't bumpy just noticable
Oh and my feet are the same wasy as my hands, big green bumpy veins.

Is this a sign of weak circulation or something? It's not very pretty.
I have fair/light skin color and I'm about average weight ( i think)

This is perfectly normal. Your veins will bump up and become more noticeable when your body is warmer. I don't know why it would appear more after washing your hands unless you are using hot water and are just more focused on your hands at this time. It actually shows that your veins are circulating just fine. The veins are much more noticeable with pale skin people with translucent skin.

There are some conditions with this sympton that do need medical attention. Vericose veins which are blue/purple color show up on the legs. If you are experiencing pain, make a doctor's appointment and have it checked out now. Otherwise ask your doctor on your next visit if its anything to be concerned about.

One of my relatives said that it caused by washing your hand immediately if your hands have sweat. Try first to relax your hands and then go on and wash it.

I am the same problem...I'm also very cold all of the time, so I dunno if they're both attributed to poor circulation or what.
