Good point. The reason I don't believe in evolving from lesser life forms all comes down to abiogenesis. It does not hold any water. Also huge leaps in phyla and classes of animals goes against the Bible. And only derives its evidence, from inferences based on much smaller species changes that are currently observable. But I don't really feel insulted or anything by it, I just disagree with it.

Good question. There are many Christians who think in only "black and white" or "either or." There is no gray or middle ground. I am a Christian who just happens to believe that God created the earth and all of its evoluationary patterns. Why can't there be a God who created scientific evolution? Whether or not we originated from a fish, who knows. That one is a little hard for me to phathom, but here's the thing. We know dinosaurs existed because we have physical evidence all over the place, but where is the physical evidence that God exists? That is where faith comes in. But truely, none of us REALLY knows do we?

If I came from a sperm and a egg? I wouldn't exist without the food my parents ate. So was i in the food. I'm so confused. So God made things in some sort of Cycle. If i was a sperm and a egg does that mean God made me to evolve. And Jesus was the Master Craftsman at the Fathers side delighting in his works during Creation. Psalms or Proverbs 8 or 9 not quite sure.

To me it doesn't matter what scientists come up with. They seem like they can't make up their minds about anything these days. Every few years/months whatever, something changes. From how humans were created, to whether babies should sleep on their stomachs or backs, to Pluto not being a planet anymore, etc, etc, etc. The next few years who knows what scientists will say. Maybe they'll say humans came from something else. It's all entertainment to me.

It has nothing to do with the material or form of matter used, but in whether or not God is acknowledged for having a hand in our existence. Usually the theory of evolution is used to rule out the existence of God, which is why we have a problem with it. However, it is only a theory. Science SUPPORTS evolution, like a very good idea, but there is no concrete proof.

Adam was hand crafted by the Creator God and God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. That's what a human being is, not an endless cycle of "positive" mutations. I believe the testimony of God.

What could be greater than being created in God's image and having Him breathe life into you?

We believe in the Word of God. Genesis is God's eyewitness record of what happened in the beginning. If we evolved, it would be in the Bible. God said that he made Adam, I believe it.

If God creates you in his own image, directly from dirt, it's a high honor.
If your uncle is a monkey, that's not so good.
