Bush asking for another $245 billion for Iraq and Afghanistan.
America has already spent almost $400 billion so far and it's projected that by the end of 2008, those wars will be at a total cost of more than $700 billion.

Where's this money coming from?

I want us to get out of there victorious but, this is bordering on the ridiculous.

The money seems to be coming from the tax cuts, and if we can afford the $400 billion, then I suppose we can afford the $245 billion. If you are unhappy about how the gobs of money are being spent, I suggest that you draw up an accounting plan that will accomplish the same thing, or more, than the current plan, but at a lesser cost -- perferably without having to go to China to buy the parts and/or the soldiers. Good luck with your superior plan!

The money comes from the US selling bonds to
foreign country's. Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Japan, and on and on it goes. South Korea was thinking they might want to cash in, the American government was very nervous over this, and talked them into holding on. This Iraq war is going to drive inflation threw the roof. The same thing happened during the Vietnam war.

the money is coming from none other than... US of course. how else do you think we're in so much debt? bush says he wants to get us out of the hole but how the hell is that going to happen if he keeps taking the money elsewhere?! im sure the democrats in congress are going to have a field day with this decision!

tax payers of course
if we can globalize the middle east, it will benefit all mankind. Then we just have N. Korea and China to work on, I doubt military will be used in these cases.
then we will have a 99% peaceful planet, and we can unite as humans!
