I have a friend (girl) who is turning 24 soon and I don't know what in the world to give her. I was planning on a $100 gift card to one of her favorite stores but I think dats a little bit shallow. Ladies please help me. What should I get her for her 24th birthday? Keep in mind that this girl once had a crush on me and she trusts me so much but we are not dating. Giving a gift card is like saying " I thought about you but I was too lazy or busy to take the time to pick something out from my heart for you." Buy her something that she will treasure with sentiment. Make it something that she will look at years to come even if you are not near and will think of you and how much she means to you. I suggest silver pendant earring set with symbols that may have a special meaning to her(hearts, butterflies, flowers or even her birthstone)...when she wears it or when someone says how pretty it is she will always think of your friendship with her....and you're not breaking the bank either.

A gift card is always good. You can be sure they will get what they want. If you feel bad about this get her something small along with it. Smoething that meants something to only the two of you, like an inside joke or something. Try to think of something that only you know she likes. This will mean a lot! You don't even have to spend more than $10 on the lil gift the thouhgt will mean a lot more. I recommed a Sephora gift card. Girls love make up!!

I don't know about the gift card. a gift card is awesome when you don't really know the other person and you wouldn't be able to know what to get them. When you give them to someone you really know it's more like: "I had a whole year to think about it but I still have know idea what you would possibly like."
Ask one of her friends for help, they probably know exactly what she likes. Or maybe, instead of the g. certificate, take a chance and choose something for her that you think she would like. It will show you know what store she likes AND that you spent your time picking out something for her. If she doesn't like it she can always exchange it.
After all, it really is the tough that counts.
