I'm the eldest among the four siblings and i'm the onlyt teenager in the house. it sucks because u have no one u can relate to with some things and what's worse is that I have 3 monkey-like siblings (the youngest is 8 years younger than me) and the next one, second to me,is a 12 year old annoying sister who keeps on messing aroung with my stuff without my permission! She would usually open my drawers when i'm not around and read my notebooks (i have tons of notebooks at home 'cause i love writing).

She's such a ....! I never do that to her stuff but she keeps on messing around with mine! What should I do? talking to her or my parents won't do any good (i've tried that already).

This may not be this first time you have heard this, but your little sister really does love you and look up to you. She may just be trying to either get your attention, or to get closer to you. Now I know this may be difficult as a teenager, but try to be a little more patient and understanding of her feelings, or you may someday wish that you had been. Once angry words have passed out of your mouth, you can never call them back.

That said, you still have every right to your personal space. There are ways besides yelling and complaining to let others know what is and is not acceptable behavior. thes key here is being politely assertive, patient, and consistent. If all else fails, you could possibly get a combination lockbox. This may otherwise send a strong message that intruding on you space cannot be tolerated. But be carefull, there are no better safe crackers than bored little kids, believe you me!

I have a 13yr old son and a 9 yr old girl. She worships him! (although she won't admitt it) He is sooooo mean to her! I tell him how much she looks up to him and wants to be just like him. He don't care. I know it's hard and they are annoying. I had a sis 9yrs younger who did the same thing. I don't think you will appreciate it til ur much older how this is really a compliment to you that some1 wants to be just like you. She is trying to read your stuff and go through ur stuff like I did to my fav Aunt.I just thought all her stuff was the best ever! Well me and my sis are as close as u can get now that we are older. Just try really hard to be the mature 1 and hold yer breath! It'll be over soon. :) (maybe get some kinda lockbox for your notebooks and stuff)

Juz ignore her partner.Keep the hings u treasure and other personal things outta her reach adn just allow her continue messing with ur things.Don't keep anything that might interest her within her reach. As long as u appear to b frustrated she'll be fooling with u forever.Just play it cool and she'll be bored. As time goes on she'll move on to more mature things.

Oh Wow,,,,,,,,,this idea just popped in my head of setting a few mouse traps in necessary places . Nothing deters like the thought of a little varmint running around . And besides if she sets the crazy thing off her SCREAM should be enough to bring everyone running . LOL,,,I LIKE THAT IDEA .

If you have a room of your own put a lock on it... if you don't but do have cabinet put a lock on it....

And since your a teenager clean your room....

since you got lots of notes and stuff get a big box with a lock on it...

Oh do hide the power tools too they might get into that if you hide your things properly... ^_^

I think u should tell her to stop becuz she wouldnt like it if u went in her room and u should start goin in her room and do the things she does in your room and she will see how it feels like for someone to go in your stuff and read ur personal stuff u should also start hiding your stuff like in something that has a lock or something so she wont get in it

Maybe you can talk to her and see why she is snooping around in your stuff. Sometimes you just have to tell them kindly first to leave your stuff alone and if they keep doing it talk to them and say why it is important for them to not snoop in your stuff. Try talking is all I'm saying. Good luck.
