I am FASTING (to lose weight). DO NOT TELL ME NOT TO. JUST NEED TIPS. Like what to do when people want me to eat. How to not give in.

NO ANSWERS THAT SAY. DONT DO IT. BC I AM ANYWAY.

You dont need to fast, just dont eat as much and cut out the crap stuff.

once I fasted for 3 days, and it was fine. I only drank water. I think it is good if it's for the right reasons. At the time, I was in really great shape, and I just realized I wasn't hungry. So I didn't eat. after a day I decided to see how long I could go and still feel OK. after three days I actually, unquestionably felt hungry. So I ate a small amount, waited about half an hour and ate some more. and did this for a while and after that I was back to normal. OK OK to answer the question: At one point I was with a friend and he went for food (I went with him) I just told him I was fasting, and had some water, while he had his food. It wasn't a big deal.

I think it's very important to listen to your body. fasting can be good or bad. make sire that it''s good. if you set out to fast for seven days and you don't do it you are NOT a quitter or something. I didn't even plan to fast, it just happened. My body was deffinatly ready for it. I havent done it since. It did feel good, but if I did it now it might not.

another thing : I would choose good foods to eat leading up to your fast, and after. Don't just suddenly stop eating.
if you know a yoga teacher ask them for advice too.

nobody can tell you what to do. if it's your own food, you can do whatever you want. so if you are in a family situation, take care of your own meals. then people wont even notice when you fast. and like I said it isn't a big deal. make sure your body is ready for it and that it's a good thing.

one other thing STAY active!! don't just sit around all day when you are fasting. go out for walks and excercise like yuo normally would. nothing intensive, but stay awake and moving around. it will be much easier. Dont watch TV while you are fasting!! really.

fasting isn't the best way to lose weight, but it can help. something better would be to eat fresh salads., since it's mainly water, salads keep hunger away, but don't add weight in any appreciable amount if you use only very small amounts of dressing just for flavor. it gives the added benefit af not having to say you are not eating anymore, and still not eat enough to keep from losing any weight. but if you are going to fast, have sense enough to take plenty of multi-virtamins to keep from becoming ill due to vitamin deficiency. you can also drink milk and orange juice to keep your strenght up, or you'll wind up in a hospital with dehydration and some degree of starvation.

Fasting is a good idea of its for short term temporary weightloss.
Trust me I did every fast in the book, you will gain the weight the moment you start to even smell food.
Diet normally, healthily.
Dont even diet, just pick up a healthier eating style. And this is the best advice you will get.

i fasted for 13 days once. drink plenty of clear liquids make sure you get plenty of rest. just keep drinking liquids water especially water as much as you can til u feel like youre drowning. tell people your doing an experient. not a diet they'll all say its unsafe etc. yyoure body needs a cleanseing ever so often good luck theres a book called the Mucusless Healing System its all about fasting and its really informative take a look

do you realize how bad you are gonna screw up your body? there are much better ways to lose weight and more effective. you need protein and all sorts of nutrients for your cells structure and health. just cut back on the foods with little nutrients and tons of calories and you will lose weight.

the body is thinking i need to keep this fat because i don,t know when the next meal is going to be . so you can,t starve you self i fasted for 7 day and only lost 1pound drinking water it dosen,t work you need to eat oatmeal.fish.chicken.juice. don,t eat bread, white rice,pop. you need to eat lots of peppers. and veg,s but if it,s for one day drink drink 10cups of water and vitamins that,s the only way.
