Me and my boyfriend have been going out for a year now. and for some reason i dont think i like my boyfriend very much anymore... at first i was madly in love with him, but after a while he got old. all my friends say he's ugly and i should dump him, but i still have SOME feeling for him or else why would i still be with him? or is it because im afrade of being alone? i dont know what to do? was my first kiss and EVERYTHING else there is a first for. but it's gotten so bad that i dont even want to hold his hand in the car anymore. i keep getting in fights with him so i dont have to see him. i feel so bad. but i really dont wanna hurt him, and at the same time i still want a boyfriend... WHAT DO I DO???

He said if i leave me he will NEVER be with anyone ever agin, and his life will be meaningless..... i know it sounds like he dosen't mean it, but you dont know him, he means what he says...

It sounds like you are ready to break up and move on. Just because you have SOME feelings doesn't mean you should prolong a relationship that no longer fulfills your needs. It's not fair to you and it's not fair to him. End it now so that both of you can move forward and find someone you can be truly happy with.

If you do still have some feeling for him cut him loose. You say you don't want to hurt him but you have 2 choices. Stay with him and be miserable or leave and hurt him. You know you are going to leave eventually so why not just get it over with. He will get over it. You are not responsible for his happiness as he is not responsible for yours. We are all responsible for our own happiness. Besides he can't be happy with the situation either if you are constantly fighting with him so that you do not have to see him.

I don't know....? It soundes like You just need to dump him and forget About It..... If you really loved him You wouldn't be askin all this I think That You just don't wanna Be by urself I mean you have been with the same person for a year And your kinda scard to be with someone new... so Just dump him.....

i thnk u dont want to be w/ him at all and u dont have any feelings for him but i also thnk tht ur AFRAID of having to start the whole "process" all over again...try being his friend but pay close attention to his reaction. im sure it wont b a good one but if he ends up being really mean about it, then ur better off w/o him
