I wouldn't want to waste time with a jerk that is so self-centered. Have better self-esteem and kick him to the door.

No, i do not think it will be wrong. In life, letting go of the one you love can be extremely hard, especially if you have kids together. But you have to understand that he is only causing more harm than good. He can truly affect your kids because they can grow up thinking they are a failure due to his bad behavior. You need to realize that the only reason he does these things is because he is insecure and a very jealous person. He feels as if he needs to put you down to uplift himself. Realize this is emotional abuse and you should not have to go through it. Although it may be hard at first, in the long run it will pay off....and also remember, "you can do bad all by yourself"

I would say that you and your son need to get out of the unhealthy situation you are in, but before you tell this person he can never see his son again, explain to him why you left and why you feel like taking his son away and give him the opportunity to seek counseling or attend some sort of anger management program. You could even try to make that part of your custody agreement.
Either way - it sounds like you and your son need to get away from it until he gets some help.

Well its hard because unless he does something physically to the kids you legally cannot deny him from seeing his children. The courts won't care either what he does to you even if he does it in front of the children. Do what you feel you have to do to protect your kids and let him take you to court if he has to. I've been through this and your kids deserve better than to be around that!

Its not wrong if you dont let him see his kids. If he is always calling your son names then it doesn't seem like he cares about him anyway so it probabably won't matter to him whether you let him see your son or not. If you don't let go of him for yourself, at least do it for your kids.

Talk to the courts if you don't have full custody of them and get this and don't let him be around them.
He is destroying them by calling them names and putting them down.
Kids have a hard enough time with out someone like that putting them down.
Good luck

No, I don't think so. If he isn't a good influence on them, then I say there is nothing wrong with you not letting him see your kids.
