This is so sweet.

How handy are you in the kitchen? Guys love food. You could get ideas for a menu from your parents, have them help you if you need them to, and then get them to feed the family early and then scurry off to other places in the house so you can have a cozy dinner for two.

There are lots of really elegant foods that are great for an anniversary dinner...that are super super easy. If you don't want to do that, maybe just have him over for a drop dead dessert from the bakery, or make him some brownies or a cake.

Other ideas: (some low budget and some high...dont know what you want to spend)

You can get him some cologne...YOUR fav kind. Even a collection of Axe products or other bargains would be nice. There are lots of "man scents" of regular bathroom items out now. Shower gels, shampoos, shaving stuff. You could get him an electric razor? It may be his first one.

You can get him a gift certificate for a massage or a haircut at his fav place.

You can get him a new release of video game, DVD, or music.

You can get him an iPod accessory if he has one.

You can get him a nice leather cell phone case or wallet.

You can decorate his locker or have balloons sent to his class. Check first if it is allowed at your school.

Gift certificate for him and his buddies to do paint ball, go carts, bowling or something else dumb that you wouldn't enjoy but they would. This would be a nice gesture because even though you are celebrating your relationship with him, you are not smothering, instead you are encouraging him to have guy time. They need that.

Does he have a fav author? You could get him a box set of his fav series of their books. OR a special edition. Or a neat lamp for him to read by. Or I mentioned CDs, if they have a boxed set get that.

Does he have a car? Get him stuff to clean the car, trick out the car, or a gift certificate to Auto Zone to buy oil or wiper blades, etc, or a car wash place to get a nice detail.

That's about all I got sista. Have a nice time.

don't get him anything you are putting too much stock in this anniversary, it sounds like you are getting him a very nice Valentin's gift, he is only 16 he probably doesn't work or if he does it's part time after school or just weekends and any money he makes most likely goes to dates with you so why put pressure on him to come up with a killer Valentin's gift and a anniversary gift, besides the only anniversary that counts for anything is a wedding anniversary not a when we first started going out or dating anniversary, so my answer is don't get him anything just be happy with the Valentin's gift from each other.

A nice card, perhaps a watch or a bracelet. You two are very young so do not I repeat, DO NOT spend too much on it or him, just get something nice and simple..

No big deal, a hand job is just fine, but since you won't do that, hhhmmmmm, let me think, THIS IS HOW YOUR DAY SHOULD GO, you go on a date, you know dinner, rent a movie, and just sit on his bed cuddled up while watching the movie. *Or is that what I would do, no, I'd probably would over exagerate thing's*, anyway's, that's just my opinion.
