I'm a mom and I would like to know how to ACTIVATE it on my TV. There are certain things and channels I don't want my son to watch. I don't want the babysitter watching questionable content either while my son can easily sit and watch. Can I block entire channels? Should I look for a button on the remote? Why is the damned thing such a mystery? I tried to find info on the web and couldn't. Please help!!! What can I do to block out some of the garbage?

On the TV there should be a Menu or stup key. Press it to go to the TV's setup. Then look for Parental Controls. V-chip is part of parental controls. You can block both channels and programs based on ratings.
