I'm sorry you are hurting. It isn't all that uncommon for one person to have feelings for another which aren't reciprocated in the same way. That can cause a lot of pain for the person who has the feelings. Especially when you are young you can't help but think that how you feel will never change and it will always be painful to be around him. But the reality is that once you accept you cannot be together, at least now if not in the future, you will find that the feelings you have now will begin to fade and will be less painful for you. You might want to spend a little time apart from him though, if it is too painful for you to be near him, simply to give yourself a chance to heal a bit. Then, when you are ready, perhaps you can be friends again. That is, if he is deserving of your friendship.

So you are boyfriend/girlfriend? And he isn' ready for a relationship? Aren't you in a relationship now? YOu must mean you want your relationship to be more serious than what it is now? Like engagement maybe?
You can't just let love stop like in a snap of a finger. the longer you have been involved in a relationship, the longer it will take to stop having those feelings. Soneone once told me for every yr you are together you count a month for each yr and that is how long it takes to start feeling less emotionally attached.

For starters, if he loved you he would be your boyfriend and he would want a relationship. Otherwise that love is the same as you would have towards your cat or that cute old lady neighbor that shares her cookies with you.
It sounds like you guys were dating rather than him being your boyfriend. And yeah if you're really into him it won't go away that easily. Just make sure that you only "mourn" him the right amount, not more. Get involved in your life and another will appear sooner than you think. Just don't whine about him like he is the love of your life, he's not. He is just someone you dated.

You do not try and make them go away? they may never go away but your love is selfish love if you just think about yourself more than the other person. And this hurt you feel is self pity rather than love. You need to search your own feelings of why you think you love him and find another person more like you than living in the past in a relationship that is not working . Again learn from your mistakes because there is a saying that they that do not learn from history will repeat the same mistakes.
God uses our mistakes to teach us about our future, but some people do never listen or learn. I hope that helps

Just be patient. You are young and have all the time in the world for LOVE. Enjoy your youth while you have it. One day you will look back and wish you had it again. Good Luck

You need time. There is nothing more you can do.Stop seeing him or talking to him completely. No contact whatsoever. That will help you to forget about him.Keep yourself busy with other stuff .Any hobbies?.Do yoga, stress relief.Spend time with your girlfriends, they will keep you busy. And nobody knows when love will knock their door.It may come when you don't expect it.Good luck.

you can't make these feelings go away, but try being his friend for awhile and you'll get closer and then you both will go onto the next step and everytrhing will be alright, good luck.

TIME
Your feelings will heal with time and as soon as you find someone else, it will go even faster.

If not, he might come around (assuming your still interested)
