I've read that you should mix cotton in with doughball bait to help it stay on the hook, and I've bought doughball bait with cotton all mixed in nice, but when I try it myself, the result is just wads of cotton in the bait. How can I mix it in evenly? Also the one thing in the world that catfish absolutely can't resist is pigshit. I don't think there's a pig within a hundred miles of where I am now. Does anybody sell it mailorder?

My Granny saved bacon grease and got her hands all gooked up and rolled old bisquits into tight litle balls. caught the hell out of some cats that way. Patience.

A good way to keep doughball bait on and intact is to use an old piece of pantyhose.Have you ever heard they cant resist Ivory soap?

I have never had any luck on store bought stink bait. Crawdads, shrimp, nightcrawlers, helgamites, liver, and ivory soap work well. Good luck with that pig ****.

I think you can buy pigshit at walmart. The times I've been there, it smells like it.
