I am 17 years old, I finished high-school a semster ago and I am planning to move to Texas, and start college by next semester. I wont be 18 until november.
Is it legal for me to move into an apartment by myself with my parents permision and approval before Im 18??

Yes. I moved out at 17, and even though my mom kicked me out, she still tried to talk me into staying. Yah, I know, confusing. It's legal. As long as you have living arrangements that don't restrict people of your age...My roomate was 19.

You can't enter into a legal contract to rent an apartment until you are 18. Your parents can rent you an apartment, but their names will have to be on the lease too. It all depends if the landlord is willing to do something like this. You are not an imancipated minor so things are tricky. Also, I would totally rethink the TX thing. Aren't there any schools anywhere else you might want to go to. TX is NOT the great state of TX!!!

Yeah it is. I moved out at 16, it's fine, especially for college.
