I don't think that the spelling really matters . . . but thanks for the chuckle Anon. Do Nuts. I know that's not what you meant . . . but HaHa.

Though not refered to by the name, of course Europeans have been exposed to them. Certainly in France. They aren't what typical Americans think of as donuts (ie Krispy Kreme) but Europans have versions of fried dough with a glaze or filled with creme and dipped in chocolate.

We have paczki it taste way batter than American "Dough-nuts."

Try some Polish foods you will love it....

Though they eat doughnuts, they dont like it that much.
The version of doughnuts in Europe is different from America (eg Krispy Kreme)
Europeans dont eat as much junk as the Americans.

Yes we do , we have them filled in the middle with strawberry jam then coated in sugar yum

What really are Beignets or chorros if not donuts? They have fancy names...but they are donuts :)

AND...my favorite stores DO spell it donuts..howard's, and dunkin, but I'm from the south...we like to loose the extra letters :)
