A sex offender can also be someone who was arrested as a prostitute's client. Such an individual would pose no danger at all to your child or any other child.

Think carefully. And remember that in some places, if a sex offender who does pose a danger to children moves to a givenarea, the police must advise people in that area.

Each state should have an individual listing of these offenders.

Or check on federal state and then may lead you to the state listings.

Can contact your local police department also for these listings or phone numbers.

If you goto a search engine such as GOOGLE and then put in the name of your state and "sex offender registry", you will be able to pull up the registry for your state.

Yes, there is access to a website with this information. You could call your local police dept. and ask them for the info. Please always assume that your child is unsafe to be outside without supervision. It only will take one mistake on your part for potential disaster. I would MOVE!
