You know that they would, they see it as their mission in life to convert everyone. Even the opportunity they would love to teach children their dogma. Many of them will use the lame excuse that "only God" can convert; if that was the case, why do they spend so much time wittinessing?
And I can see many of the don't know about the Brights.

Convert, no.
But if my child was truly bright, then he/she would be able to comprehend the depth of the mysteries of this crazy, wonderful world. Then, perhaps God would do the converting.
If he wasn't very bright, then he would think he already knew everything anyway ... so there's no teaching there. Rev 3 refers to people that are so rich that they believe they had need of nothing.
I thank God that I've never been able to comprehend infinity...it keeps the mystery alive and it keeps God several steps beyond the textbooks. Can I get an amen!!!

Sorta GATHERED, "BRIGHT", meant ATHIEST...
So then answer my question, "what will it take for you to believe in the ONE TRUE GOD, who can PROMISE an eternal PARADISE?".
ETERNAL, can you fathom that...
Oh by the way, my answer would be, "YES", ...Though I would not try to "CONVERT"... (but to any who will listen, I will share what I believe).
That is not my JOB, (to CONVERT) nor is it UP TO ME WHO ULTIMATELY DECIDES TO "COME to GOD".
He is my FATHER.
He gave me this life and all that is in it.
Of that, I am as Certain as you are, that He does not exist.
Maybe even more so.
And NOT JUST because of a BOOK.
But because of the LOVE and Compassion I feel in my heart.
Man, I can be a "VERY SPITEFUL and VINDICTIVE person".
I am Human, it seems to be our nature.
But my SPIRIT is GENTLE.
Kind, peaceful and loving.
I try to allow my Spirit, Rather than my MIND, which seems WEAK, to be in control.
Notice I did not say ,"I, or my MIND", is weak.
I think it takes a LOT more to Accept "God", than to just think that all this "stuff", from the," human BODY, to the WORLD we live on, to the UNIVERSE"..., which I believe is forever expanding...
Just all happened by accident.
I believe there is a GREAT DESIGNER, who Created it all, and I am willing to share my beliefs, with all...
Even a "bright child".
It is ULTIMATELY up to GOD who believes in Him.
I guess I just answered my own question again....
"What would/ will it take for the non-believer to believe?".
So why did I ask that Q.?
I thought it was a good one to ask.
PRAISE GOD!!!
DJH.

"Bright is another word for atheist" ----- Whatever you want to believe to make ya feel better about yourself...You must follow the Costanza rule for passing a lie detector test:
To quote one George Costanza, "Just remember, it's not a lie if you believe it."
To answer your question, if the child was bright they would already be reading the words of the Creator.

i'm truly one of three sisters that were raised Christian, and switched over to Paganism, truly one of my sisters has 2 daughters that she's raised pagan. The oldest, is proud to be pagan, the more youthful one, i imagine is Christian, yet she's afraid to inform her mom and step-dad. often times she'll say issues that make me have self belief she's no longer interested in being Pagan, too a lot controversy in our predominately LDS native land. and he or she is continuously apprehensive about what all of her pals will imagine, she would not take them over to her living house via actual undeniable actuality that there is pagan issues everywhere you look. And, understanding my sister, i imagine she in all likelihood ought to provide my niece a not ordinary time about it. on the different hand, i have been VERY open with all of my step-youthful ones. My husband isn't Pagan, and his son isn't constructive what he believes, he merely knows that it is no longer what his authentic mom has raised him to have self belief. i have uncovered him to Pagan rituals as he's gotten previous adequate to understand them (he's 17), or maybe as i have had him in circle with me, it is continuously HIS determination. I tell him, that see you later as he's satisfied in his beliefs and is a good human being, that is all that concerns to me!!! i do not understand if any of what I suggested has helped, yet when there is something else i will likely help you with, please ask! woman Shayyna

Bright = atheist... in what language is that?
I am Bright... i am christian
My son is bright ... he is agnostic
I don't force my beliefs on anyone. My children know i believe, and i go to church. They are free to go with me if they want. Two of them do, and one doesn't. He and i talk and debate about spirituality in general. We love to talk about everything, but we respect each others position. I love and respect my son just the way he is. And even though he is agnostic, and not atheist it would still be the same if he was. It is his choice.

No one can convert anyone dear. If you want to stay a person who will not believe in God, nothing anyone says will make any difference. Child or adult, we all have the ability to listen and choose. If I were a parent, which I am not, I would bring up my child in the way he should go, which the bible tells me to do. Would I teach them about God? Of course I would.

Whether Jesus was God or not I don't care. However, one cannot deny that he was one of the greatest moral teachers of all time. Just because one is an atheist doesn't make him smart. You are a perfect example.

A man rejects God neither because of intellectual demannds nor because of the scarcity of evidence. A man rejects God because of a moral resistance that refuses to admit his need for God
