The best solution to remove a cork without a corkscrew is to use an Ah-So. This is basically like two metal poles where one is slightly longer. You place the long end between the cork and bottle then place the other end between the bottle and cork then proceed to rock it back and forth. After that you twist and pull and oilla out comes the cork and no corkscrew. This also is usually an ideal way to remove a cork from an old bottle.

The only thing that has ever worked for me, is to push the cork into the bottle. Trying to pull the cork out with anything else but a cork screw, broke it into pieces. Good Luck!

1. Get a long screw with deep grooves and twist it in, then get some pliers or vicegrips and pull. 2. Check if you have an old swiss army knife maybe not in the kitchen, mine has a corkscrew.

I have had this difficulty in the previous, at different peoples homes, and the perfect ingredient i have tried is to get a enormously lengthy nail and hammer. Then hammer the nail into the cork, a extremely sturdy strategies, then use the claw of the hammer to tug it out. no longer enormously yet works each and every time!

All you need is a screwdriver or drill, a screw and a pair of pliers! Use either a screwdriver or drill to screw the screw into the center of the cork - but not all the way through - then use the pliers to grab the head of the screw and pull!

I've used a fork before. You just have to make sure the fork is pretty sturdy, and that it won't bend easily (and also that it isn't too valuable just in case it doesn't bend). Just stick the fork in and shimmey it out...
