Can I burn songs on car audio format in a DVD? Will my car audio play them?

No, the cd player in a car cannot read the dvd disc, period, no matter what is on it. It is like trying to play a Playstation disc on your home dvd player. The discs look similar, and are the same size, but they are not the same. Now, if you have a rear-seat dvd player, you can play your music dvd on that.

NO. DVDs are compressed and formatted in a completely different way than CDs. I am not up on the latest technology, but there may be a DVD-audio player out there. There was talk of them 3 or 4 years ago.

get a cassette am/fm head unit, then get a cd/dvd changer. both in case you get kenwood or jvc or some thing trouble-free (dont flow for alpine) it's going to fee (without new audio equipment) probable no better than 2 hundred-three hundred.
