How about a chocolate & caramel indulgence? This is a very quick & easy recipe, and is incredibly, sinfully, rich...
Bake a triple chocolate cake mix in a 9 x 13 pan as directed on the box... (I think Duncan Hines has triple chocolate cake mix, but any really good chocolate cake will do)
While the cake is baking, mix 1 jar of Mrs Richardson's Butterscotch Caramel Ice Cream topping w/a can of sweetened condensed milk in a bowl. Set aside. (Again, any topping wwill do, but Mrs Richardson's has the best caramel flavor...)
When cake is removed from the oven, poke holes in it w/a wooden spoon handle while it is still warm.
Pour the caramel/milk mixture over the cake.
Let cool to room temp, and "frost" w/a container of Kool Whip (I like the French Vanilla best, but it is available only seasonally...)
Sprinkle toffee pieces over top. (I use the pre-packaged Skor bar pieces that you can find by the chocolate chips...) Or you can crush up a couple Skor bars or Heath bars...
Refrigerate cake until time to serve, and any leftovers... But I can guarantee there will not be left overs!
Oh--and since the bag of toffee chips is quite large, I have also started to use some mixed into the cake mix before baking... (this is optional...) YUM!

We had one of our favorites last night and here it is :
Bananas foster or something close to it....
peel and slice bananas in half lengthwise
melt enough butter 1/2 cup approx. in fry pan to cover the bottom
add:
1/2 cup brown sugar
remove pan from heat and the add:
1/4 cup of dark rum
so it does not ignite...
place back on burner and add the bananas
let them cook for a minute or two turning a couple times
now add:
1/2 cup walnuts, almonds or pecans
mix all together carefully and then spoon this over the ice cream you have in each dessert dish.
I like to use vanilla ice cream or butter pecan...or anything you like.
Top with whipped cream or cool whip or it without extra toppings
so good.
Best wishes as you eat your fav. dessert in your dishes!

Yeah, I'm a huge fan of cheesecake too. How about Monkey bread? Sprinkle nuts at the bottom of a bundt pan, get some frozen bread dough, let it rise, then roll it into balls the size of a half-dollar, dip it in cinnamon & sugar mixture. Then load them into the bundt pan. Then mix some melted butter with brown sugar, drizzle the mixture on top of the dough, then bake for 30 minutes at 350. Awesome stuff.

Since I've discovered I'm diabetic, my usual is sugar-free apple pie with cheddar cheese. But before (and this might be one reason I'm diabetic now) I used to love a homemade fudge brownie, split and lightly smeared with peanut butter, then top with Denali Moosetrack Ice Cream, put the halves back together and have it as an ice cream sandwich.

I am telling you if you like plain old cheesecake you will love fried cheesecake.
Deep-Fried Cheesecake
1 prepared cheesecake (homemade or bought)
30 Oriental spring roll wrappers
Egg wash (whisk 1 egg with 1 cup of milk)
Vegetable oil (as needed)
Cinnamon Sugar (as needed)
Cut already-baked cheesecake into uniform pieces approximately 3 x 1-inches in size. One large cheesecake will produce about 30 slices for deep frying.
Lightly moisten each spring roll wrapper with the egg wash. Blot off excess egg wash with paper towel.
Place each piece of cheesecake in the middle of a wrapper. Fold top of wrapper down over the cheesecake, and both sides toward the middle. Roll each piece of cheesecake toward you until it is completely rolled up. Give this "egg roll" a gentle squeeze to make sure the dough is sealed completely.
Using a deep frying pan, heat at least 3 inches of oil to 365°F. Dip the corner of one "egg roll" in the heated oil. If the oil sizzles, it is ready. If not, heat the oil a little longer. When the oil is ready, gently release "egg rolls" into the oil and allow to brown lightly, approximately 10 seconds.
Using tongs, remove the golden-brown "egg rolls" from the oil. Place each "egg roll" in a bowl of cinnamon sugar and coat well. Place deep-fried slices of cheesecake on paper towels to cool slightly before serving.
CAUTION: These will be very hot. Allow to cool at least 5 minutes before serving. They can be enjoyed warm or cold.
Cinnamon sugar
2 cups granulated sugar
4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Mix well.

That's a toss up, I love Pecan Pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The ice cream actually cuts the sweetness of the pie. I also like chocolate pie with meringue. It's good.
