he used to like my friend, i've only talked to him once, we don't have any classes together, but he tells this same friend he used to like that i'm cute and this is the second time in the past two months he's told her this, so i don't know why he won't just come up to me and tell me that he's interested, he's not the shy type. . .
we're seniors in high school so it's not like he's 12 or something. . .

Maybe he thinks you are cute, but he isn't interested in more because he is going away to school or something. How did he act when he liked your friend? Maybe he is really bad at dating.

Maybe he's just trying to feel her out by seeing if she'll show a jealous reaction about you. It's an old trick guys use see where a girl's thoughts are without directly asking her. He could also be hoping that she'd go back and tell you so that you'd give him some kind of sign that you still like him. What are you waiting for? If you want to take a shot at him, Woman up. Like you said, it's not like you're 12...right?

Well, he could be trying to see what the other girls reaction is to this, thats probablt it. But maybe he does think you're cute, but maybe not interested.... Or he might like you and just not be able to get to you, since you don't have any classes together and is telling the friend to have her tell u, as a way of telling you.

Maybe being around you makes him shy. We all have that one person that gets us a little tounge twisted and get the butterflies in our stomach going, maybe you're his one. Don't you remember what it feels like to have a crush on someone? Maybe you should approach him.

omg. well sounds to me like you like him and your friends are messing with you. I wouldnt believe it. or, he might just be trying to make your friends jealous. if he really does like you he would ask you out
