Ok so, recently I called up one of my old guy friends to see if he could go to the movies one night with me and a bunch of friends, but he couldn't make it a later that night he called me while I was still with my friends and they all said I should date him. He's a bit immature though, because hes a year younger then me and since I'm a teen, thats a big difference. He is hot though, and he could be really nice, I don't know him completely well, but I used to hang out with him a lot. I used to like him last summer, but since we havent talked I lost interest. He also might be a little too immature and my mom is iffy about him. I was just wondering if you guys had any advise about this... should I date him, or should I not?

So... try it and ditch the 'He is hot' attitude. How would you like it if nobody dated you because... you are not hot enough. Date the person because you like them. And you won't know if you like them unless you date them. That's why you date before you become boy and girl friend. And being a boy and girl friend means your going to concentrate on each other, not other relationships.
Wait a minute. Maybe Hot means he has a really nice personality and he makes you laugh. Hmmm. OK Some of the prettiest girls I have met are still single or married and remarried and remarried... ect.... because they don't have personality. And the girls that are fun to be with, spontanious, want to do things... these girls, women... get dates, get married and have children and make great mom's and loved by their husbands for ever and ever and ever.
So.... I am rambling. Is he going to ask you out or are you? Imature? My wife is older than me and I act imature all the time. It makes her laugh and seeing her laugh... well... that makes me feel good.

ok well if he's younger than you i think no. because now you think its gonna work out. in the beginning it will. but i've known a couple of friends that have gone out with younger guys and they always ended up breaking up with them bcuz theyre too immature. so save urself the hassle and keep him as a friend.
