I use a Macbook Pro (Apple Inc.)with a built in webcam, and I was wondering if I could video chat with my brother who has a web cam but it's an external one for his Dell computer which is running off the Microsoft Operating system.

No, MSN Messenger for Mac doesn't have the webcam feature. If you want to chat with a Windows user, you need to use Yahoo! Messenger, but it's slow and not fun to use.

yes you will have no problems so long as you both have msn messenger installed, give it a try, its great
