depends. maybe the girl will think you need space and go along with it. you may lose her in the process. do you want to start game playing? she could be the type who is a little insecure and want to know everything you are doing at every minute and so ignoring her might cause her to go mental with her friends, but she'll eventually get over it. people don't always react the way you want them too. it could backfire somehow. the bigger questions are why do you want to hurt this person and why would you want to be THAT person who goes around hurting others? are we talking payback? revenge never works.

It will not only drive her crazy, it will push her away. I guess if your intention is to push her away, you could do that. Lots of guys do it as a way to get rid of a girl, but it is neither mature nor the mark of a person with any integrity. It's weak. If you're doing it to play games with her b/c you like her and want her to like you, then it's also weak, and it will get you the opposite results that you want. When people have done this to me in the past, the ones who wanted to break up got what they wanted, and the ones who didn't want to break up lost me...I never wanted to lose them, I just always give up instead of doing the chasing....b/c I feel as if they aren't interested or they've lost interest. All in all, a bad move on a guy's part.

yea we hate it, but it also works like a charm almost everytime. a word to the not so wise though, know when enough is enough or she'll just lose interest.
