I would say move on - he was trying to be polite. There is a chance that he really has a girlfriend and that is why he turned you down. He now knows you like him, so if he finds himself in need of a date in the future he will know you are available.

I don't think he was being sarcastic. He just turned you down. He also told you he has a girlfriend, so he is letting you know that is the end of it. Let it go. It doesn't say anything negative about you, but I wouldn't search for anything beyond what is.

He was most likely just flattered you asked. He's already involved so unfourtunatly I doubt it's that he wants to go out with you, but it's always nice when people are told things like that, so he's probably just, again, flattered by it. Keep a friendship going though. He wasn't being rude or nasty, he's just not available...there could always be something though later on

he can be so flattered that he is just really rude. some guys take it as a joke. it's mean but if he has a gf than it doesn't mean that much to him or he just knows that girls always want him. guys need an ego boost that way. its just the way they are.

honey, if he really wanted to go out w/ you. he would tell you that he really wants to go out w/ you but that he had a girlfriend. he probably smiled b/c he didnt want to see too harsh w/ his response. i dont think he's interested. move on.

looks to me like he was trying to be polite. if he wasn't smiling, chances are that he wanted to go out with you but can't. but since he was, he was trying to be polite.
