Yes. chemical straighteners are permanent. as your hair grows out the new hair will have to be treated.

Everybody is different. The Japanese straightening is best but very expensive. Other chemical straighteners, depends on the individual. My hair isn't even massively curly but after putting a straightener in it, it's still not TOTALLY straight on it's own. I still have to use serum and a flat iron. Genetic/dna makeup bites huh?

A friend of mine has completely curly hair, like really curly. But like you she likes it stright... She gets it chemically straight like you say. She says it lasts about 6 months. It's really good and it will not damage your hair as if you were to staighten it every day. It also wont come off if you shower.

It still gets curly everytime you get it wet, and you have to use a handheld straightener to make it work, but it just make your hair even more frizzy and damaged, TRUST ME!

hi! Im asian but somehow I got crazy frizzy hair n ppl always ask me if my dad black. lol. Theres 2 diff. kinds of perm. Theres the straight perm for curly and frizzy hairs but if you wash your hair it will go back to the way it was...The permant perm is called....."magic straight perm" its done in asian hair salons and you can wash ur hair as much as u want n it will stay straight! I gotta get my magic straigh perm again cuz the new hair roots are growing.

the japanese straightening would make it entirely straight. If you chemically straighten it it will jsut make it easier to blow dry straight and would stay less frizzy.
