this is not true your statement. first of all there are numerous debates with shieks one named ahmad deedat where he speaks with religious people of all faiths. he knew the torah the bible and the quran word for word. he dedictated his whole life to studying the 3 monotheistic faiths. you can find these tapes where he has shown contradictions in the bible as well as the torah. he has spoken with many figureheads all over the world. how ever the polp declined to speak with him after he wipped the floor with several bishops from the vatican. one thing i notice with non muslims is if they do not like an answer they will still try to argue and change the subject. not our problem. i suggest you get this mans tapes if you do not believe me and he has a book called the choice where he compares christianity to islam. there are two volumes. he also compares islam to other faiths like judiasm, hinduism, buddism, siekh, etc..... i am not afraid of a debate. there has been a challenge to disprove any of what the quran as said and still today it can not be done. for those who say that islam is a false religion and we copied one of the other books funny thing is not ONE verse from the quran matches any of the other books. i suggest you read more about the religion. look up the mans name i have given you and read what he has to say on the internet if you do not feel like buying the book. ignorance is not a muslim trait. you are ignorant just by what you just said. not all muslims practice their religion. if they were do you think the saudis would continue to pump oil to america? with all this said do a little research before you go around sprouting opinions that are inaccurate and lack merit.

The same reason that ALL religions are. Not good at debate, because all religions are too subjective. "Faith" is exactly that. To have "faith" in what one chooses with no open-mindedness. You will find this in ANY religion where there is a "diety."
Edit: Yahoo has deleted my avatar "photo"--the black cat that lots of people can identify with. (As well as my 360 public view.) Too bad so sad, but there is NO One out there.
Edit 02/05: I wonder if "trolls" are synonomus with "sociopaths?"

at first, it isn't in any respect a good idea to lump an finished team of human beings below one umbrella. we do not understand what all Muslims are good at because we do not understand all Muslims. Secondly, American way of existence is rather diverse from the cultures of a great number of Muslim human beings. they're totally extra conservative and hence in all likelihood a lot less likely to talk. also, as individuals we are an fairly nationalist united states of america. Many different countries do no longer have a lot delight.

An Internet "troll" is a person who delights in sowing discord on the Internet. He (and it is usually he) tries to start arguments and upset people.
Trolls see Internet communications services as convenient venues for their bizarre game. For some reason, they don't "get" that they are hurting real people. To them, other Internet users are not quite human but are a kind of digital abstraction. As a result, they feel no sorrow whatsoever for the pain they inflict. Indeed, the greater the suffering they cause, the greater their 'achievement' (as they see it). At the moment, the relative anonymity of the net allows trolls to flourish.
Trolls are utterly impervious to criticism (constructive or otherwise). You cannot negotiate with them; you cannot cause them to feel shame or compassion; you cannot reason with them. They cannot be made to feel remorse. For some reason, trolls do not feel they are bound by the rules of courtesy or social responsibility.

I don't generalize nor do I go around debating with Muslims. Why would I debate with a Muslim. What should I disagree with? I don't have any problems with Muslims and never will. It is the politicians greed that has created this anti Muslim mentality because they have created a force against them. Muslims have balls and we have Bush.

Anyone that puts their faith in an exclusivist religion believes that their way of thinking is the ONLY way to salvation...period. Why would you want to debate with someone that believes everyone else is wrong?
Aristotle said "It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without excepting it."

Why do Yahoo! questions stereotype all Muslims like this, without realizing that stereotyping and being hostile are actually much worse attributes than being "very bad at debate".

I take your challenge, please add me to messenger.
Also I suggest you watch a famous debate between Dr. Zakir Naik and Dr. Campbell titled,
"The Qu'ran and Bible in light of modern science"
and then readjust your opinions, you can find all the parts on youtube.

You mustn't generalize. Not every Muslim is bad at debating, ok? Perhaps you choose the wrong ones to debate with. Why not choose one who knows his/her Faith REALLY, REALLY well?
Hmm.... How about email/IM me so we can have a debate about Islam, huh? :D I'd LOVE that!!! (I'm Muslim, by the way.)
