Maria,
let me tell you something...you are just in high school and i feel its not necessary to ask him out...even if u want to,u need not be afraid..u should be mentally prepared for everything you are going to face..whether he accepts or not..you shouldnt feel dejected..its you and your ideas which are more important..and
dont unnecessarily land in troubles..

You need not feel afraid..or you neednt get scared...fear is a factor which u find in relationships which are going to be unhealthy..

Never...dont be afraid of anything...rejection isnt a big thing..it may hurt you in the beginning..but you yourself will know later that rejection isnt something to be really worried...

my suggestion is never be afraid of anything...Everything is a part of life..and this is one such thing...almost..all of us hav been rejected by someone or something in life..! its not necessary tht u remain a winner always..!

i donno how far this helps u..

Well if you want to be equal with a man you need to take the same risks as a man. Men historically have been the ones to risk their ego being hurt by asking out a woman. Just remember that you cannot ask out more then a few men without being tagged as desperate, 2 or three men is fine but after that you cannot ask anyone out again for a while. So if you want to be a mans equal then risk your ego and ask him out

ugh the age old question...from everyone out here..we can all say that you should go ask him..dont' be afraid be honest..tell him what you feel..but the moment you encounter him..the fear comes back..everyone is always afraid of rejection no matter if you ar 2 or 222..its all the same..you have to find out deep in your heart if its worth giving up your friendship for more..if it is..then go for it..if not then not. its up to you and what you are feeling. don't be afraid of it because then youll never know..but you have to make your choices and know that it will always be hard to ask someone

No. Everyone gets rejected at some point in their life. Most of us more than once. They say that it builds character.

Yes.

It's normal and healthy to be afraid of rejection.

You are going to have to assert yourself your entire life so why not start now and ask him out.

The worst he can say is no and then you know.

If you don't try, nothing happens. That is 100% negative. If you try you have a 50/50 chance. It is worth the risk. :)
