well he gets mad because he thinks im lying but its not like i can convince him im not. which im NOT. he stop talking to me and always try to say goodbye but i send him a message and i guess it touches him and he always ends up saying "im sorry baby i love you" every f***ing weekend.

EGO.
I've dated many guys whose egos where the most important thing in their lives...
Their pride is at stake if they realize they're wrong... And its very embarrassing for them.. its similar to armageddon for them, their pride will take a huge knock, and risk ultimate destruction if he admits to being wrong 1st time.
