If not where can i get some mmmmmmmmm
If so what is the punishment? And who wouldnt do a little time to get some of that sweet sweet egg.
I tried some on a vacation outside the US and havent been able to stop thinking about them.

Bald eagles ovulate just like chickens... The egg must be FERTILIZED prior to the eagle laying the egg to make an actual chick ( like how female mammals ovulate each month but don't necessarily get pregnant ). Now I can see the where the issue of eating the egg comes in, if it's an actual Chick or not. So if there is a definite way to tell that the egg is indeed NOT fertilized and therefore NOT a baby eagle, I say YES eat that egg or another predator will do so. I understand the conservationists and concerned people answering "no"., but unless it's a baby chick WTH does it matter?? It's probably delicious.

All wild birds in the United States are federally protected . the bald eagle is threatened. The penalty for hunting, procuring, poaching( no pun intended), or illegally buying avian wildlife is severe.
