Does anyone have a recipe for a chili that is served stacked between cornmeal pancakes?

I remember making it from a crockpot/slow cooker recipe about 30 yrs ago. It was a hard cover cookbook but I don't remember the title . . . something like "Slow Cooking Made Easy" maybe???
