i still want my sanging voice but i have tonsilidis

Considering that tonsils are at the back of your mouth and your vocal chords are several inches lower down in your throat, you should be just fine. You are going to have a sore throat after the surgery, but you should be able to sing just fine once you are all healed up.

No. Your tonsils are not in the same area as your vocal chords. Your throat will be sore for a while after they are removed, just take it easy, eat lots of cold stuff ( good excuse for ice cream, frozen fruit bars, ect) and don't talk alot it will make your recovery go much faster!!

I really don't think so. I'm not a doctor but I know tonsils are in the back of your mouth, the vocal cords are lower in the throat.
I think anything could be, when an operation occurs, but it could be really rare.

I have had my tonsils out when i was 3.It was hard to talk the first week.
