I live in Victoria, Texas and here there is a Junior College - The University of Houston at Victoria .. But I am planning to go to The University of Phoenix at Houston in Houston, TX to get a Masters Degree in Business/Administration. Im wondering, it would be smart to stay here and take the basics first then go to Houston, yes I know, but Could I take the basics there at the University of Phoenix as well?

Financially, the best move is to take the first two years at a junior college and then transfer into a four year college/university.

To make the most of the time spent at the junior college make sure that the four year college/university will give you full credit for the classes at the junior college.

Yes you could take the basics at UoP but it would be a heck of a lot cheaper to go to junior college first. Check woth UoP on credit transeferring requirements.
