Limewire is good. Make sure you have a good anti-virus program. What is real cool is you can download the basic edition at limewire.com and do a search for Limewire Pro and find it and download it. So you get the whole system for free.

Limewire is free and legal. Just don't put anything from it on
I-tunes. That is where it becomes illegal. You can listen to music on Limewire. It takes about 5 minutes to download a song.

Limewire is a free P2P tool that lets u to share ur music and u in turn can download stuff from other users..
though it wont be the legal way to download music this way....but it does work good

one version of limewire is free. that's the one I use. I have no problem with it most of the time.
It is kinda difficult to import songs to media player, though. (limewire does not burn or rip for you)

I use it, and I've never had to pay for it (not even a one time fee). Results are great. I've heard there are a lot of viruses on the site, so be sure your computer's antivirus is working.

you dont have to pay at all for limewire. It may slow down your computer and internet connection speed, but most people dont care about that.
I think it's great. but some people think it messes up the computer with spyware and adware and all
